We are looking for a motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused Account Manager I to join our growing Sales team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling SaaS-based communication solutions including business texting, email delivery, and customer engagement platforms to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States.

The ideal candidate has experience managing the full sales cycle - from prospecting and qualification to demos, closing, onboarding, and account expansion. This individual should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized in pipeline management, and possess strong communication skills across multiple customer channels including chat, email, inbound calls, and outbound outreach.

What do you do in the role?

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to closing and account handoff.
  • Prospect and engage business owners and decision-makers across various industries in the US market.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored communication solutions based on customer needs.
  • Sell and support multiple SaaS platforms including texting, and email solutions such as SimpleTexting/ Sinch Engage, Mailgun, and Mailjet.
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales activities through chat, phone calls, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while accurately tracking opportunities and activities within CRM platforms.
  • Develop strong customer relationships by understanding business goals and recommending the best-fit solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including onboarding, support, marketing, and product teams to ensure customer success.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.

What experience/qualities you need to bring with you

  • At least 3-5 years of proven experience in a sales role selling SaaS products or technology solutions.
  • Experience managing the entire sales process including prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, closing, and pipeline management.
  • Strong background handling customer interactions through chat, email, inbound calls, and outbound calls.
  • Experience selling communication, messaging, email, or marketing technology solutions is highly preferred.
  • Ability to confidently engage with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a quota-driven and performance-focused environment.
  • Experience using CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce and Pipedrive is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
