Licensed Health Insurance Agent – Remote | $21/Hour + Performance Bonuses

Beat My Rates Agency, Inc. is hiring 2 experienced Licensed Health Insurance Agents to join our growing team.

We are looking for knowledgeable, dependable agents who are comfortable assisting consumers with health insurance, explaining coverage options, and providing an excellent customer experience.

This is a remote position with a guaranteed hourly base plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

Compensation

Base Pay: $21.00 per hour

Performance Bonuses: $500–$2,000 based on individual performance and established bonus criteria.

High-performing agents will have the opportunity to earn significantly more than their hourly base compensation through our performance bonus program.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Have at least 2 years of health insurance sales or enrollment experience
  • Hold an active Health Insurance Producer/Agent license
  • Be actively licensed in at least TWO of the following states:
    • Kentucky (KY)
    • Maryland (MD)
    • Florida (FL)
    • Texas (TX)
    • Georgia (GA)
    • Pennsylvania (PA)
    • Virginia (VA)
  • Be comfortable working in a remote, phone-based environment
  • Have strong communication and active-listening skills
  • Be able to explain insurance terminology, benefits, premiums, deductibles, copays, networks, and prescription coverage in a consumer-friendly way
  • Maintain accurate client information and documentation
  • Be dependable, professional, and able to work independently

What You’ll Do

As a Licensed Health Insurance Agent, you will assist consumers with understanding and selecting health insurance coverage based on their individual and household needs.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Handling inbound consumer calls and enrollment opportunities
  • Reviewing health insurance plan options with clients
  • Helping clients understand premiums, deductibles, copays, networks, prescriptions, and other benefits
  • Identifying client needs through active listening and thoughtful questions
  • Assisting with applications and enrollment
  • Reviewing doctors, prescriptions, and anticipated healthcare needs when comparing available plans
  • Providing excellent customer service before, during, and after enrollment
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and following required compliance procedures
  • Following up with existing clients when necessary
  • Meeting established quality, productivity, and performance expectations
