What are we looking for:
We are offering a full time, 4 day 10 hour 3rd shift flexing between Sunday night (8:30 pm) - Thursday morning (7:00 am). This position has a $3.00, 3rd shift premium which brings the position to $21.00 an hour. 3rd shift will have safety emergency button lanyards available and on them at all times when operating machinery.
Third shift night warriors are running the print room, Zund and fabricating products. We need to bring on an awesome individual, like yourself to help us.

Although this position mainly requires setting up our state of the art printers and making sure our awesome products are being printed correctly, don’t let that scare you, we can teach you the trades in no time, attitude and aptitude are everything in this role! We can show you how Loki or Thor (YEAH, we totally named some of our printers after our favorite comic book characters) operate and how to maintain them to stay in tip top shape. If you have any other skills, passions or abilities they will absolutely be utilized, and we encourage you to share them with us.
What you will be responsible for:
  • Learn and understand color theory to match pantone colors to meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate interdepartmentally to ensure that proper job priority is followed, changes needed for jobs are made and daily productivity goals are met to satisfy flow requirements.
  • Learn finishing techniques such as weeding, laminating, heat pressing and application.
  • Review instructions to prepare job before printing to ensure accuracy.
  • Continuously improve everything and support root cause and preventative action measures.
  • Maintain daily print production logs as needed.
  • Perform quality checks and work with the entire team for all jobs to strive for 100% Quality of all orders.
  • Support and sustain 6S standards.
  • Maintain inventory of all necessary supplies.
  • Perform routine PMs and operator maintenance as required.
  • Provides technical support, data collection and assistance to improve the processes of all print operations.
  • Provide support for quality related projects.
  • Assist as needed with the development of new equipment and processes.
  • Participates in cross-training to be proficient in a variety of processes.
  • Flexibility when it comes to cross training for other job functions, we rely heavily on TEAMWORK.
  • Speaking up and engaging in continuous improvement.
What you need:
  • Experience with large format printers (i.e. UV, Dye-Sub, Plotters, and Decal) and rip software is desired but, not required.
  • Able to work under pressure, high volume and high quality work.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs or more with lift assist roll machine.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Highly motivated to continuously improve.
  • Detail oriented and creative thinker.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multi-task and reflect a positive attitude towards challenging job requirements
  • Possess strong communications and that are healthy to our positive and productive work culture (Don’t take this as fluff…we are serious. Communication is a big deal here)
