Hiring Robotic Assembly Technician - 1st shift $21/hr!!

Job Description

This role focuses on the mechanical and electrical assembly of advanced robotic production equipment and the cells and structures that house them. You will build, wire, and test components using detailed drawings and blueprints, contributing directly to the creation of custom robotic systems for a wide range of manufacturing applications. The position offers a steep learning curve, structured training, and clear opportunities to grow into more advanced automation responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic production equipment, including the cells and apparatus in which the robots operate.
  • Build mechanical structures such as cages and protective enclosures that are installed around robots and related equipment.
  • Carry out electrical assembly tasks, including wiring and connecting components according to drawings and schematics.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work prints to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  • Use hand tools and pneumatic power tools, such as wrenches and socket wrenches, to assemble mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Lift and move components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, coordinating team lifts for heavier items when needed.
  • Perform basic motor testing and non-live wiring tasks as part of equipment build and verification processes.
  • Follow established assembly procedures and quality standards to ensure safe, reliable, and consistent builds.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors, team leads, and coworkers during an extensive training period to learn complex systems and processes.

The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, with a structured training period of about six months during which you work closely alongside a supervisor or team lead to build your skills and confidence.
