Job description

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with an electronics manufacturing company in Lancaster, NY, is seeking a qualified Electronics Assembler/Inspector to join their growing team. This is a temp-to-long term position with room for growth.

Shift: 1st Shift ( M-F)

Pay Rate: $18 to $21 an hour

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble various electronic products including but not limited to printed circuit boards and wire cables.ย 
  • Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
  • Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
  • Work under microscope or maglight
  • Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
  • Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
  • Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
  • Must have experience hand soldering SMT and Through hole components

Requirements

    • Must be able to read component values, bills of materials, work procedures and drawings.ย 
    • Must have experience soldering.
    • Must have experience.
    • Knowledge of or certification of IPC standards a plus but not required
    • Will at times work under magnification.
    • Experience in electronic assembly and/or inspection
