Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Maspeth, our surgical center offers an onsite, collaborative work environment where healthcare professionals thrive. You will be part of a dynamic team that ensures the clinic runs efficiently while maintaining a patient-centered approach. This full-time position requires a commitment to a structured schedule, predominantly Monday to Friday, with a shift starting at 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours a week.

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and collect detailed medical histories to inform diagnoses.
• Order and interpret various diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and X-rays, to guide patient treatment.
• Effectively diagnose and manage a range of acute health conditions, ensuring timely and accurate responses to patients’ needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans for chronic diseases, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
• Prescribe medications and assess their effectiveness through regular follow-up and patient feedback.
• Maintain precise and organized patient records, documenting medical histories and ongoing treatment plans accurately.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and preventive care strategies to improve health outcomes.
• Promote good health practices and wellness initiatives within the clinic and the community.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities, staying informed on the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.

In this role, you will primarily interact with a diverse patient population ranging from children to seniors, each presenting various urgent health needs. You will be responsible for providing care to individuals with acute injuries, illnesses, and other health concerns, making your role pivotal in ensuring swift, effective treatment. Your experience and interpersonal skills will significantly enhance the clinic's ability to offer prompt, quality care while addressing the unique needs of each patient.

• A Bachelor's Degree, with a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies strongly preferred.
• A valid California State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and DEA number.
• Proficiency in both primary care and urgent care settings, demonstrating a thorough understanding of health regulations and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with medical staff.
• Strong ethical values and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a cohesive healthcare team.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, addressing urgent health issues with confidence.

• Prior experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER, or urgent care setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with our diverse patient community.
