Job description

About the Role

Advertising at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don't come with a script. As a Partner Manager for our Travel and Financial Services verticals, you aren't just pushing a product; you are building long-term partnerships in a fast-changing environment where performance and client satisfaction are the only metrics that matter.

This role is high-stakes and grounded in the messy reality of doing big things at scale. You'll lead with impact by connecting major brands to our global user base, but you'll also face the challenge of shifting priorities, complex executions, and the need to make smart decisions with imperfect information. We are looking for someone with an owner mindset who is energized by the pressure of managing a campaign lifecycle from first kick-off to final reporting. If you thrive in a "go-get-it" environment where excellence is the norm and you're ready to help write the playbook rather than just follow one, this is where you'll grow.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with our ad sales teams to develop and manage ad partnership strategies that deliver on our partners' needs, business objectives and exceed quarterly growth goals
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of clients' marketing goals and challenges and proactively recommend solutions that support them
  • Manage internal and external kick off calls to understand campaign specifications and discuss complex executions
  • Manage the entire campaign lifecycle including creative showcase and best practices
  • Proactively monitor campaign performance to pinpoint, communicate and solve issues
  • Coordinate the launch, management and reporting of campaigns; while proactively communicating updates and setting expectations with all stakeholders
  • Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate relationships and difficult partner conversations.
  • Uncover opportunities to drive better performance and increased investment (upsell) by delivering data-backed insights and recommendations to our partners
  • Bring your analytical A-game. Develop methodologies to highlight trends and provide meaningful insights to partners during the campaign lifecycle
  • Be the voice of the customer and effectively communicate product limitations and feedback to relevant internal teams
  • Drive initiatives. You will help support the team lead to build best practice playbooks across our Ads team to drive success and efficiency. This involves wearing many hats and jumping in to help your teammates when the needs arise
  • Collaborate effectively across cross-functional internal sales, product, and support teams to include Ad Ops, Insights & Measurement and other relevant parties.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of full-time experience
  • Experience in end-to-end large customer advertising account management
  • Experience in digital advertising account management and/or sales
  • Understanding of performance and brand marketing media channels, ad products, and core measurement metrics that are relevant to these
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale ads campaigns and partnering with large, complex advertisers
  • Experience building relationships with key marketing decision makers, brand digital advertising managers and agency partners
  • Ability to flex your analytical skills and utilize data to quantify opportunities and influence decision makers
  • Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Speed, resourcefulness, proactivity and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity
  • SQL and other data qualifications a plus

Ready to Ride?

This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook - it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves - we'd love to hear from you.

You may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and other compensation, as well as a range of benefits. Explore our benefits.
