Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly residents to pinpoint specific psychological needs and concerns.
  • Provide tailored individual and group counseling sessions addressing the emotional complexities related to aging, such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to devise and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring holistic support for geriatric clients.
  • Educate family members and staff on techniques to foster emotional well-being and improve the quality of life for elderly individuals.
  • Offer grief and loss counseling services, aiding residents and their families in navigating end-of-life issues and bereavement.

Qualifications
