Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while still maintaining a strong connection with our clients and colleagues. You will engage in regular collaboration with school staff and community partners, ensuring cohesive support for students and their families. Although your work hours will primarily fall within traditional business hours, occasional evening and weekend shifts may be necessary to accommodate client needs and program activities, providing you with a diverse and engaging work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental needs of students and their families.
• Develop tailored service plans outlining client goals, targeted interventions, and methods for progress tracking.
• Provide individual and family counseling, helping clients navigate complex life challenges and crises.
• Facilitate connections between clients and community resources, advocating for access to necessary services.
• Implement crisis intervention guidelines, performing risk assessments and developing safety plans where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with community agencies to coordinate comprehensive services that address client needs.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives, raising awareness about our agency's services and available resources.
• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and provide training to support the professional development of peers within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as an LCSW at Bridgeway Center will focus primarily on students and families within the school system, many of whom face significant socio-economic challenges. You will play an essential role in addressing issues such as trauma, mental health crises, and barriers to educational success. The ability to connect with diverse populations and adapt to various cultural contexts is critical for fostering trust and delivering effective support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of various social and economic justice issues impacting the communities we serve.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in social service agency settings, particularly in educational or school environments, is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based practices is preferred.
• Experience in advocacy and case management is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
