West Bridgeway Counseling Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and emotional well-being through interviews and standardized tools.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans after evaluating clients' specific needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Provide engaging individual therapy sessions that address mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Lead couples therapy sessions to facilitate improved communication and conflict resolution within relationships.
  • Regularly review and update treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring effective adaptation to their evolving needs.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams when necessary to create a comprehensive support system for clients.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, their families, and relevant stakeholders to coordinate care effectively.
  • Provide support and crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute issues, ensuring they receive immediate assistance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in marriage and family therapy.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training opportunities, and peer supervision.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of clients, empowering them to make informed choices about their treatment.
  • Create a secure virtual therapy environment, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in all client interactions.
  • Encourage clients to adopt self-care practices that bolster their emotional resilience and contribute to their overall well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will encompass a diverse group, including teenagers grappling with identity issues, adults facing life transitions, and couples seeking to improve their relationships. The therapeutic approaches will vary widely, necessitating a keen understanding of different mental health challenges and the ability to adapt therapy techniques accordingly.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing therapy, particularly with individuals and couples.
  • Ability to work with clients across different age groups, including children and adults.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure timely completion of client assessments and documentation tasks.
  • Proficient writing and communication skills, with the ability to navigate electronic health record systems effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis intervention and handling high-pressure situations sensitively.
  • Familiarity with remote therapy tools and platforms to deliver effective virtual counseling sessions.
  • Previous work within a community health setting or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
Compensation and Benefits

West Bridgeway Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
