The Nashville Brain Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time remote position in Houston, Texas. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and ensure their requirements are effectively addressed.
• Facilitate clear communication between supervisors, caregivers, family members, and other relevant stakeholders regarding client progress and treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, including scheduling appointments, initiating home visits, and performing progress observations.
• Perform in-home assessments and observations to gather comprehensive insights that inform treatment plans, including data analysis and stakeholders’ feedback.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss case management and treatment strategies, ensuring informed and accurate delivery of care.
• Prepare and submit detailed monthly and quarterly client progress reports in accordance with organizational protocols.
• Organize and coordinate training sessions for staff and team members to ensure competency in program implementation and documentation processes.
• Provide continuing support through follow-up interviews and home visits to monitor clients’ needs and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping practices to maintain transparency and accessibility of information for all involved parties.
• Act as a liaison between the community and the mental health sector, working to foster awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
• Contribute to the development of training materials aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of program delivery.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children and adults, from various backgrounds and situations. Your counseling will support individuals facing challenges such as substance abuse, trauma, or other mental health concerns. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Possession of a current and unrestricted state license as a Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance abuse is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of essential legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster the creation of strong therapeutic relationships.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies is preferred.

While a minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, candidates with experience in diverse treatment modalities, particularly those related to family and group therapy, will be viewed favorably. Experience working with varied patient demographics and proficiency in trauma-informed care are additional assets.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
