Our hospice center setting allows you to focus deeply on the emotional needs of clients, providing therapy tailored to individuals and couples navigating the complexities of terminal illness.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Southeast Behavioral Health, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of crucial tasks including:

• Providing individual and couples therapy to clients aged 18 and older, ensuring each session is tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.
• Completing detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions in a timely manner, which is essential for coordinated care.
• Maintaining an organized schedule by managing appointments with clients through our efficient calendar system.
• Collaborating with billing services to ensure smooth handling of claims and managing client financial interactions without direct burden on the therapist.
• Utilizing therapeutic models and evidence-based practices to effectively address a wide range of clinical presentations.

In this role, you will work extensively with clients in a hospice environment, which requires a high level of emotional intelligence and cultural competency. Your clients will include individuals and couples dealing with terminal illnesses, and part of your mission will be to facilitate discussions around grief, loss, and end-of-life decisions. Your compassionate support will play a pivotal role in helping them cope and find peace during these critical times.

To qualify for this rewarding role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology.
• Current LCSW licensure, allowing for independent practice.
• An understanding of professional ethics, with the ability to maintain clear therapeutic boundaries.
