Job Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a key role in our company. As the BDR you will be responsible for outbound activities including calling and emailing prospective new customers.
To be successful in this role you must be an excellent team player working toward building the pipeline and developing opportunities to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, with the ability to identify customers needs and share how Liongard's Roar platform can assist them. You also must be passionate about contributing to the kind of team that promotes our culture and teach prospective customers about the benefits of Roar. We execute as a team and expect strong collaboration to ensure consistent communication within Revenue team and across all major functions of the company.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Call and email prospective customers
  • Identify customers' need and share how Roar can assist them
  • Teach customers on the benefits of Roar (training will be provided)
  • Work directly with Regional Sales Manager to exceed revenue targets within defined territory
  • Quota carrying for outbound activities
  • Respond to day-to-day inquiries generated from marketing
  • Work to qualify marketing leads
  • Pre/Post activities, setup and attendance at tradeshow and in-person events
  • Communicate with co-workers through e-mail, Slack and/or verbally
  • Adapt to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
  • Great at time management & multitasking

Remote Work is Permitted; for candidates with experience
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of progressive direct/outbound sales experience
  • Demonstrated outbound (hunting) skills.
  • Proven track record of outbound activity, quality, and customer focus.
  • Additional qualifications:
    • Any Managed Service Provider experience and or MSP channel products is a big plus
    • Previous experience working for, or selling to IT Managed Services Providers is a plus
    • Strong in-person and on-screen presentation skills
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Experience with general IT Infrastructure
    • Experience with Salesforce
  • Must be able to travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Education
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
