This Space Planning Analyst role is built for someone who enjoys turning data into action at the shelf. You'll combine shopper insights, category analytics, and space planning expertise to develop recommendations that improve category performance and influence retailer decisions. This is more than planogram execution—you'll partner with internal teams and customers to shape shelving strategies, solve business challenges, and bring category insights to life. If you're equally comfortable analyzing data and presenting recommendations, this role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact in the market.

What You’ll Do

  • • Turn shopper, category, and sales data into shelving strategies that improve performance, shopper flow, and category growth
    • Evaluate planogram effectiveness and identify opportunities to optimize assortment, share of shelf, and product placement
    • Partner with internal teams and retailers to deliver fact-based recommendations supported by compelling visuals and insights
    • Lead planogram and shelf reset initiatives, ensuring strong execution, data integrity, and alignment across stakeholders
    • Support category and assortment projects that help retailers and customers unlock new growth opportunities

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in space planning, category management, retail analytics, or a related discipline
• Experience with planogram software (e.g., Blue Yonder/JDA, Spaceman, Apollo, SMSB) and syndicated data sources (e.g., Circana, Nielsen)
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Preferred:

• Experience integrating syndicated data and space management tools to develop shelving and category recommendations
• Experience in the alcohol beverage, CPG, or retail industries
• Familiarity with convenience, drug, or value retail channels

A career at Sazerac offers you the opportunity to reach your full potential as part of a creative, decisive, high-performance team.
