What is Remote Assortment Analytics?

Remote Assortment Analytics refers to the process of analyzing product assortments for retail businesses using digital tools and data, without being physically present in stores or distribution centers. Professionals in this field use sales data, customer preferences, market trends, and inventory information to recommend the optimal mix of products for different locations or online platforms. The goal is to maximize sales, minimize excess inventory, and ensure that customers can find the products they want, all while working remotely. This role often involves collaboration with merchandising, supply chain, and e-commerce teams.

What is assortment analytics?

It involves examining sales data, trends, and customer preferences to make informed decisions about product mix and stock levels, often using data analysis tools and techniques. This role requires strong analytical skills and familiarity with retail or supply chain environments.
