Job description

Job Summary BMA is seeking a Task Order Project Manager to manage our J65 Systems Engineering & Configuration Management Support Services (SECM) contract. This position is fully remote , part-time , and contingent on contract award. Key elements of this work consist of but are not limited to: Performing as the Project Manager for a large, complex task order Assisting the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer Representative (COR), other task orderโ€“level Task Order Managers, and Government management personnel and customer agency representatives Under the guidance of the Program Manager, assuming responsibility for the overall management, quality, schedule, and cost of the task order Managing task order employees Managing the development, updating, and maintenance of systems engineering plans (SEP), systems engineering policies, SOPs, job aids, architecture and design artifacts, and other related systems engineering documentation Ensuring task order technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner Submitting monthly progress/status reports (MPR/MSR), project management plans (PMP), weekly cybersecurity summary reports, weekly project/configuration management support task reports, weekly milestone reports, change status reports, enterprise change request tool status reports, and other reports as required Supporting and participating in program systems engineering planning reviews, status assessments, technical reviews, working groups, after-action reviews, and in-progress reviews Clearance Requirements An active Secret security clearance is required at the time of proposal submission.

Required Skills & Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 5+ years of project management experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private IT sector or in a consulting environment 5+ years of leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private IT sector or in a consulting environment At least 1 year of experience managing teams of 10 or more employees Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or an additional four years of relevant IT experience Desired Skills & Certifications Experience supporting DLA contracts Familiarity with DoD Lifecycle Management, DoD 5000.1 and 5000.2, PPBE, the ARIS system engineering tool, Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR) system reporting formats for DAES and OSD reports, and SAP products for Enterprise Resource Planning Familiarity with Configuration Control Working Groups and Configuration Control Steering Groups Familiarity with systems engineering plans (SEP) and with creating and maintaining SOPs, job aids, architecture and design artifacts, and related systems engineering documentation Familiarity with industry best practices related to cybersecurity, cyber resiliency, and cyber survivability trends, techniques, and methodologies Familiarity with agile playbooks, strategies, policies, and roadmaps Other Duties This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
