Job description

Senior Living Advisor / Business Development Consultant

Assisted Living Locators of Wake County
1099 Independent Contractor | Commission-Based | Flexible Schedule | Primarily Remote & Community-Based

Help Families. Build Relationships. Create Your Own Success.

Are you a relationship-driven professional who enjoys helping people, building a strong community network, and working independently?

Assisted Living Locators of Wake County is looking for a Senior Living Advisor / Business Development Consultant to help families navigate senior living and care decisions while developing referral relationships throughout the Wake County community.

This is an opportunity to turn your professional relationships, community connections, and passion for helping seniors into a flexible, independent business opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with healthcare providers, social workers, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, senior living communities, and other professionals serving older adults.
  • Develop referral and business opportunities within the local community.
  • Meet with families to understand their needs and help them explore appropriate senior living and care options.
  • Connect families with appropriate senior living providers and support them through the placement process.
  • Attend networking events, educational programs, senior expos, and community activities.
  • Promote awareness of Assisted Living Locators through professional networking, social media, email, and other outreach.
  • Maintain accurate referral and client information and stay current on local senior living options, pricing, and availability.

Who We're Looking For

This role may be an excellent fit for a:

  • Senior living or senior-care professional
  • Healthcare or hospital representative
  • Social worker or care professional
  • Home-care or elder-care professional
  • Community outreach or business-development professional
  • Relationship-focused sales professional
  • Well-connected professional looking for a flexible, purpose-driven opportunity

You don't need a traditional sales background. We're looking for someone who can build trust, develop relationships, identify opportunities, and genuinely care about helping seniors and their families.

Strong communication skills, professionalism, self-motivation, organization, and follow-through are essential. Experience with senior living, dementia care, healthcare, or aging services is a plus.

Compensation & Flexibility

This is a commission-based 1099 independent contractor opportunity.

Your earning potential is tied to qualifying senior living placements generated through your business-development and placement activities.

You determine your own schedule and how you conduct your business, with reasonable coordination as needed to serve families and referral partners effectively.

Please note: This is not an employee position. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, transportation, equipment, and business expenses and are not eligible for company-sponsored employee benefits.

Why Join Us?

  • Make a difference: Help families through an important and often overwhelming decision.
  • Build your network: Develop valuable relationships throughout the senior-care community.
  • Work independently: Enjoy flexibility and control over your schedule and business-development activities.
  • Be a trusted resource: Become a valued connection for families and professionals serving older adults.
  • Earn based on results: Your relationship-building and business-development efforts can directly impact your income.

Assisted Living Locators' model is built around providing local families with personalized guidance and helping them understand and compare senior-care options.

Ready to Make an Impact?
