Vorst Custom Cabinets is looking for a detail-oriented Chief Architect Design Assistant to support our design department on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly proficient in Chief Architect software, enjoys creating accurate residential design drawings, and thrives while working independently from home.
Whether you're looking for full-time temporary work or a flexible part-time schedule, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities

  • Create and modify residential floor plans and elevations using Chief Architect.
  • Produce accurate construction drawings and presentation layouts.
  • Revise plans based on client and designer feedback.
  • Prepare cabinet layouts, room elevations, and design details.
  • Organize and maintain project files.
  • Coordinate remotely with our design team to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of Chief Architect (required).
  • Experience creating residential construction drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
