We are looking for a Head of Sync & Brand Partnerships to join UnitedMasters! This role is based in Brooklyn, New York with four days in-office and one day remote. What You'll Do
  • Establish and lead a sophisticated music solutions division, with responsibility for strategy, marketing, revenue, execution, resourcing and aggressive growth targets. You own and drive the P&L of this division
  • Build, motivate and continually develop a highly engaged and effective team across multiple work locations
  • Continually evolve the division's music solutions offering, bridging the gap between brand briefs and our network of independent creators and vendor partners
  • Act as the external face and thought leader for UnitedMasters' Music Solutions division, proactively shaping market demand and defining our competitive edge by demonstrating how our ecosystem bridges the gap between independent creator culture and global brand strategy
  • Maintain best in class customer service across all accounts, from white-glove enterprise accounts to self-serve subscriptions measured by client satisfaction, growth and renewal KPIs
  • Be an active contributor to the Music team as part of both the company and Music team's senior leadership councils
  • Partner with Translation leadership to build unique and scalable services for their client's musics needs and find ways to go to market together to service brands
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven ability to set goals and use KPIs to build a sales motion that drives revenue achievement and establishes a strong market presence
  • You hold yourself and others accountable; you effectively direct, motivate, develop and enable your team to deliver results, even under tough circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience and current relationships within the music licensing community.
  • 12+ years experience pitching catalog music for placement across Advertising, TV, or Film within the US with a proven track record closing deals.
  • Proven experience building, coaching and managing a global sales team of 10+ for a new, innovative, sync product. You have a track record of leading and developing teams that consistently beat quotas and set records.
  • Distinct point of view on where the industry is heading and ability to inform how UnitedMasters can leverage its position in culture and independent music distribution to build sustainable competitive advantages in sync.
  • A passionate and empathetic leader who is closely attuned to UMT's values and those of the independent artists we serve.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Music Industry, or a related field.
  • Mastery of CRM software, such as Hubspot or Salesforce
  • Deep experience conducting and providing feedback on product demos or similar presentations.
  • Experience in an enterprise sales environment.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies

Salary Hiring Range: $200k-$275k + bonus + Equity Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide (e.g. bonus, stock options, 401(k) match, etc.) Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
