Role Overview

Volatus Drones isseeking a high-energyBusiness Development Representative -Robotics to immerse themselves in the drone industry and become a true sales force of nature. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work closely with a fast-growing team while gaining exposure to cutting-edge UAS technology, products, services, and customers across diverse industries. You will generate leads, qualify prospects, and create sales opportunities while building deep industry expertise that allows you to speak confidently to clients, influence decisions, and help grow our market presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identifyand research potential clients in target industries.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound callsandemail.
  • Qualifyinginbound leads fromevents andmarketing campaigns.
  • MaintainaccurateCRM records of all sales activities.
  • Participate in product demonstrations, pilot training sessions, and customer visits to learn firsthand about our offerings.
  • Work with the marketing team to share industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate daily with the sales, operations, and technical teams to accelerate industry knowledge.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in lead generation or sales.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, with a collaborative approach.
  • Associate'sdegreeor currently enrolledin Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in the drone or technology industry is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of BDR experience.

Hours of Work, Work Environment and Potential Travel

  • Standard workweek of 40 hours, Monday to Friday.
  • This is a remote position. Candidates are expected to maintain a professional home office setup and be available during standard business hours.
  • This role may require approximately 10%-15% travel.
  • Occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate prospect meetings across different time zones, sales campaigns, pipeline development activities, and company events.
