• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, integrating diagnostic information.
• Utilize established therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective treatment.
• Educate and support clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices to enhance coping strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress, making data-informed adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in integrated care strategies by collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical professionals, facilitating a holistic approach to mental healthcare.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment methods to continually refine your practice.
• Maintain confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization of mental health challenges, ensuring that clients feel supported and understood.

As an LMFT at Opti Mind & Soul Counseling P.C., you will primarily serve clients experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of diverse client populations, including individuals facing challenges such as homelessness, refugee experiences, and survivors of domestic violence.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a secure and trustworthy therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ unique life experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective time management skills to balance workload and administrative responsibilities.

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling setting, specifically treating mood disorders.
• Familiarity with integrated care practices and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Engagement in continuous learning and professional development, particularly in addiction counseling and related fields.

• The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
