We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Accounting Coordinator will support the firm's day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, client billing, and other accounting functions. This full-time position is fully remote, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement if you are located near one of our offices.
Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable, including vendor invoices
  • Assist with accounts receivable, including monitoring outstanding balances and following up on past-due invoices
  • Prepare, review, and finalize client invoices in collaboration with attorneys and the Billing & AR Manager
  • Ensure client and vendor invoices are being processed in accordance to client guidelines
  • Process client payments, trust transactions, and deposits in accordance with firm policies
  • Assist with monthly billing cycles, payment applications, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with the review and preparation of billing appeals, including gathering supporting documentation and identifying billing trends
  • Support month-end and year-end accounting activities
  • Other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Accounting experience in a litigation setting
  • Comfort working in a growing firm where priorities may shift and processes are evolving
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Clear, professional communicator who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (Filevine experience a plus)

The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
