POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team with a focus on sourcing, engaging, and hiring Process Engineers and Process Controls Engineers. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in controls engineering talent, partnering closely with your team, hiring managers, and HR to build high-performing technical teams. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial sourcing through offer acceptance and help shape our employer brand within the Industrial Automation industry.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Full Cycle Recruiting & Pipeline Development

  • Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to identify qualified Process Controls Engineers, including passive candidates via LinkedIn, engineering forums, industry associations, and niche job boards
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of controls engineering professionals with expertise in DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and instrumentation systems
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and technical screening criteria for controls engineering positions
  • Conduct thorough phone screens and structured behavioral interviews to assess both technical aptitude, cultural fit, and global travel readiness
  • Manage candidate experience throughout the process, ensuring timely communication and a positive impression of the organization
  • Extend and negotiate offers in alignment with compensation guidelines and market data

Process & Operations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline conversion rates, and offer acceptance rates
  • Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and candidate quality
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and internal hiring policies

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR, providing market intelligence on candidate availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring trends
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR and Project teams for a seamless hire-to-start experience
  • Provide regular updates and pipeline status reports to stakeholders and leadership

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 14 years of recruiting experience (entry-level: 12 years; mid-level: 34 years), ideally in a technical, engineering, or industrial recruiting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive engineering talent using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Familiarity with process controls engineering concepts and terminology (DCS, PLC, SCADA, P&IDs, instrumentation, loop tuning, etc.) or a strong aptitude and willingness to learn quickly
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment with multiple open requisitions simultaneously
  • Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and standard recruiting tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with technical candidates and non-technical stakeholders alike
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience recruiting across the United States, Europe, LATAM, APAC
  • Background in heavy industry (e.g., mining, oil, gas, etc.)
  • Understanding of complex recruitment considerations such as global mobility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional recruiting certification(s)
  • Intermediate or Native bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing
