Job description

United Mechanical, a Fidelity company, is looking for an experienced Drain Technician to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in solving problems, working with specialized equipment, and delivering high-quality service.
What You'll Do
  • Clear and maintain drainage systems using motorized augers (snakes) and high-velocity hydro-jetting equipment
  • Inspect sewer lines using camera equipment to locate blockages and identify pipe damage or structural issues
  • Repair or replace broken, cracked, or leaking pipes, including work that may require excavation or cutting through walls or floors
  • Assist with or complete installation of drainage systems, including PVC, copper piping, and sump pumps
  • Diagnose issues on site and clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to customers
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
  • Document work using tablets or handheld devices, including notes, photos, and videos
