Bakery Clerk - Overnight Shift (10pm-6:30am)

Massapequa, NY

The Overnight Bakery Clerk is a newly introduced position that supports bakery operations during overnight hours by preparing, packaging, and stocking fresh baked goods for the next day. This role works closely with the Overnight Baker to ensure products meet quality and presentation standards, maintains a clean and organized work area, and helps set the bakery up for a successful morning opening. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bakery environment

  • Sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to company policies

  • The Bakery Clerk bakes, finishes, and prepares bakery items following established recipes and standards to ensure freshness and quality for customers.
  • Keep floors free of debris and spills

  • Use and maintain all department equipment properly
  • Rotate products to ensure freshness

  • Ensure accurate department signage

  • Prepare bakery trays to company standards and meet customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For
