ServiceNow Release Coordinator

Location: Hybrid โ€“ Arlington, VA

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Deployment Lead to support a federal client in leading release coordination and deployment activities for a mission-critical ServiceNow portal implementation supporting federal operations.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end release and deployment process, coordinating closely with functional analysts, developers, testing leads, platform teams, and government stakeholders. You will help ensure production releases are planned, tested, communicated, and executed effectively in a secure federal environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced deployment environments and can coordinate effectively across technical and functional teams.


What Youโ€™ll Do

As a ServiceNow Deployment Lead, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end release and deployment process for ServiceNow portal enhancements
  • Coordinate code promotion through lower environments to production and completion of associated testing
  • Oversee release planning, preparation, testing, and deployment readiness activities
  • Coordinate release milestones across functional analysts, developers, test automation leads, and platform teams
  • Communicate release status, risks, open issues, and action items to government and program leadership
  • Monitor issues that may impact target release timelines and support resolution efforts
  • Submit and track ad-hoc releases, hot fixes, troubleshooting requests, and impersonation requests
  • Attend recurring technical coordination meetings and communicate updates and action items to developers and team members
  • Maintain release documentation and support process compliance throughout the SDLC
  • Drive release readiness activities to ensure successful, timely, and compliant production deployments

Schedule & Shift Details
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Hybrid work environment; remote support with onsite expectations in Arlington, VA

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active Secret Clearance required
  • Minimum of 3โ€“5 years experience with deployment management
  • Minimum of 3โ€“5 years experience supporting Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities
  • Minimum of 0โ€“2 years experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience supporting or organizing software release activities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across functional and technical teams
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow platform deployment or release coordination experience
  • Experience coordinating releases across development, testing, staging, and production environments
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, DevOps practices, or CI/CD deployment processes
