The Impact you will have:
The Regional Vice President, Business Development is responsible for leading, coaching, and growing a team of Account Executives within an assigned region to drive new business development and deliver VC3's value to clients. By building a high-performing sales team grounded in VC3's values, the RVP ensures clients experience the full benefit of our standard technologies, processes, and people - including increased employee productivity, predictable capital and operating costs, reduced downtime and risk, and greater business agility. Through hands-on coaching, accurate forecasting, and strong client and account relationships, the RVP directly contributes to the region's revenue growth and to consistent, high-quality outcomes for every client.
What you will be doing:
  • Understand and follow "The VC3 Way." This is our set of standards and processes that produce a predictable result for the customer. You must be aware of, maintain, and coach your team to our standards.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of Account Executives within an assigned region
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop Account Executives to build and maintain a high-performing sales team
  • Set individual and team sales targets aligned with regional revenue and growth objectives
  • Monitor pipeline activity, forecast accuracy, and individual rep performance against quota
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, deal reviews, and meeting support as needed with Account Executives
  • Partner with leadership on territory planning, account assignment, and compensation plan administration
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic accounts within the region
  • Prepare accurate and thorough regional sales, pipeline, and forecasting reports

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for new Account Executives
  • Support onboarding and ramp planning for new hires in partnership with sales enablement
  • Additional duties as required

Performance Deliverables:
  • Achieve regional bookings and quota attainment targets, based on the cumulative net bookings generated by all assigned Account Executives
  • Maintain team-wide quota attainment at or above target levels
  • Ensure timely completion of required team training and certifications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM and pipeline data across the team
  • Retain and develop top sales talent within the region

The tools you bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, including experience in a consultative/solution-selling environment
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales leadership, management, or team-lead role with direct people management responsibility
  • Proven track record of building, coaching, and leading a sales team to consistent quota attainment
  • Strong understanding of consultative and solution sales methodology, client needs assessment, and sales plan development
  • Experience with CRM and sales forecasting tools, particularly HubSpot, which VC3 uses to track and validate bookings data
  • Outstanding interpersonal, coaching, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • IT services/solutions sales leadership experience strongly preferred; MSP, cloud, VOIP, or cybersecurity sales background a plus

Additional Information:
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel regularly within the assigned region, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
