Job description: Regional International is looking for a Full Time Warehouse/Shipping Coordinator Warehouse/Shipping Coordinator
Primary Accountability:
  • Unload and check-in all incoming orders (vendor or inter-branch), matching item to packing slip and bringing any order discrepancies to the attention of the Purchasing Manager; appropriately posting items to KARMAK business system and billing any committed parts to customers or repair orders
  • Coordinate all inter-branch orders (both incoming and outgoing)
  • Work with drivers to schedule special deliveries or pick-ups as needed
  • Coordinate shipping for all outgoing items such as customer orders, parts and core returns, determining appropriate shipping methods for items based on item/package size and weight
  • Pick orders as needed by the Retail and Internal Parts Specialists, labeling and billing orders appropriately
  • Check and maintain stock levels and stock incoming items
  • Ensure all paperwork is routed to the appropriate department for processing, follow-up or filing
  • Safe operation of motorized warehouse equipment, using established guidelines
  • Complete all required training within specified time-frame
  • Special projects or other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or other senior leadership Warehouse/Shipping Coordinator

Qualifications that a candidate MUST possess to gain consideration for this position:
  • Minimum of 6 months general work experience
  • Valid New York State Driver License
  • Must be willing to learn and be certified in operating motorized warehouse equipment
  • Ability to use a personal computer, a general understanding of Microsoft Office software programs, and the ability to learn other database or proprietary software programs as needed
  • Must have the ability to frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer
