Job description

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Event Manager for a contract assignment with one of our premier investment management clients in New York, NY. This a hybrid role with 4 days per week in office.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage, support, and deliver a variety of mid- to high-complexity events throughout AMRS-from pre-event amplification through post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate event workstreams including content development, creative/experiential activations, project management, registration, communications, venue management, and budget oversight
  • Partner with business collaborators to develop strategic Event Briefs rooted in commercial priorities and informed audience insights.
  • Drive end-to-end event execution to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, brand standards, and budget requirements.
  • Review the performance of events and coordinate Event Debriefs to measure the event's effect on brand and reputational achievements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal partners such as Multimedia, Global Creative, Content, Digital for Events, and Facilities.

Required Skills:
  • Strong project and event management capabilities with proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to connect business priorities to experience-led event design.
  • Skilled collaborator who can lead and influence cross-functional teams across regions and time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative problem solver with high energy, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment and adapt quickly to change
  • 3+ years of experience in Event Marketing, Brand, Experiential Activations, or related fields.
  • Experience managing or supporting complex events and working with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event technology platforms such as Cvent.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person event delivery (approximately 50%).
  • Experience within financial services or similarly complex global organizations.
