Role & Responsibilities:
The Regional Asset Protection Manager (RAPM) is responsible for all asset protection and safety aspects for stores in an assigned region. The RAPM protects the assets of the company utilizing existing Asset Protection and Store Operating processes. RAPM trains, audits for Asset Protection and Safety compliance and investigates internal and external theft issues.
  • Investigates and resolves internal theft issues.
  • Investigates and resolves external theft issues.
  • Ensures losses of company assets are prevented, investigated, and resolved.
  • Drives awareness and support for the Drive Shrink Away program.
  • Educates stores on inventory loss impact.
  • Educates stores on prevention techniques for internal, external, and operational losses.
  • Develops, monitors, and interprets key performance indicators (KPIs) and POS reporting to help reduce loss, identify trends, and root cause in high shrink locations.
  • Frequent touch base conversations with Regional Operations partners.
  • Directs, recommends, and proactively communicates appropriate implementation of AP policies, practices, and initiatives.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Legal, and Field Leaders to conduct investigations, operational assessments and to create action plans that address areas of concern.
  • Performs AP and Safety audits (AP Scorecard) on a regular basis to identify/correct issues that could cause the company substantial loss.
  • Ensure field presence by visiting stores daily - some form of documentation (investigative report, audit, visit notes) regarding each visit is required.
  • Proactively monitor controls to identify employee theft through the utilization of POS exception reporting tools.
  • Co-manage the inventory process with Regional Operations partners.
  • Develops and implements procedures for minimizing the loss of merchandise, money, or company assets.
  • Ensures the proper operation and oversees repairs of alarm, EAS, and CCTV equipment.
  • Ensures compliance of all Operations and AP Processes during new store openings, store closings, and store relocations.

Qualifications Desired:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience required
  • Multi-store asset protection/loss prevention experience required
  • CFI, CPP, LQ or LPC certification preferred but not required
  • Wicklander-Zulawski Certified preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel 40% or more overnight is required

* The compensation for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, plus an annual car allowance. Individual starting pay within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
