Actual Job Title: Asset Protection Coordinator Temp to Hire Brand: Shared Services/Luxottica Location: Mason 100% onsite Hours: 1st Role - 7:00 - 3:30 PM that will include Saturday and Sunday - the week days can be flexible Potential Temp to Hire - Duration: 12/31/2026 Pay Rate: $19.00 Labor Category: Clerical/Call Center - Markup 33.05% Payment Terms: Net 90 days (pay when paid) Tenure MU 22.50% after 13 mos Missing Equipment fee $2000 Background check, OIG/GSA Exclusion Screenings The Asset Protection (AP) Coordinator monitors the Access Control System, CCTV System, and investigates internal/external theft concerns within an assigned facility. The AP Coordinator is also responsible for completing facility audits, responding to critical incidents involving retail stores, additional assignments, and other projects as designated by their supervisor. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES โ€ข Identifies incidents of theft and fraud (internal/external). โ€ข Performs facility audits for safety and insurance purposes. โ€ข Monitors and reviews the CCTV system. โ€ข Analyzes collected data (e.g., metrics, exterior patrols, access control). โ€ข Conducts training classes (e.g., orientations). โ€ข Drives a "shrink elimination" culture in the facility. โ€ข Prepares accurate and detailed case reports. โ€ข Documents investigations, recoveries, and losses. โ€ข Preserves evidence. โ€ข Interacts with law enforcement and Brand Asset Protection. โ€ข Testifies in criminal and civil court actions. โ€ข Reports hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty (MOD). โ€ข Carries out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes risk of injury. โ€ข Provides support to AP Command Center operations. โ€ข Monitors the LiveSafe dashboard. โ€ข Responds to medical and weather related emergencies. BASIC (REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent. โ€ข 2+ years retail Asset Prevention/Retail Loss Prevention experience. โ€ข Strong oral and written communication skills. โ€ข Good time management and prioritization skills. โ€ข Ability to detect and evaluate unusual behavior and circumstances. โ€ข Excellent customer service skills. โ€ข Ability to interact with all levels of management and civil authorities. โ€ข Knowledge of basic computer tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. โ€ข Open availability; able to work nights and weekends.
