About the Role: (Colorado Applicants Only)

As a video redaction specialist, you will be working to remove sensitive and private information from video and audio, such as faces, license plates, house numbers, driver's license numbers, and any other personally identifiable information. While the daily tasks assigned to the current opening will primarily involve redaction work, we will also look to involve each employee with other aspects of the company, including operations. We highly encourage all employees to learn and grow their skills within the company. Your ability to learn new technologies and keep up with the latest technological advances will be crucial. We are looking for those who thrive in a team environment. This job is an ideal opportunity for those looking for experience with multimedia evidence. Scope of Work:

  • Extracting video from police body-worn, dash, and interview room videos.
  • Processing 911 audio and radio traffic as needed.
  • Duplicating video to fulfill requests and other internal requests.
  • Removing faces, private information, and audio from videos
  • Redacting and editing of video using Adobe Premiere Pro CC and other proprietary software solutions
  • Ability to learn task-specific redaction software for different forms of multimedia and documents
  • Maintaining an electronic database on all released information
  • Work collaboratively with the redaction manager to follow all redaction guidelines
  • Work with outside entities to share videos
  • Work off and regularly update shared video databases and applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to use Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
  • Ability to work off the cloud and local networked storage and applications.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to provide best video editing practices for governmental body-worn camera video.
  • Ability to work in a sensitive/confidential records environment.

A background check and fingerprinting are required for this position.
