Position Overview:

The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) is a senior operational leader responsible for overseeing recruitment delivery and workforce performance across a defined U.S. region. This role manages a team of Recruiters and Account Recruiting Managers (ARMs) and is accountable for staffing success, client satisfaction, and regional workforce strategy. ROMs serve as the backbone of customer service and client support, ensuring all recruitment and field operations run efficiently and professionally. They also support new business development by partnering with the sales team to launch and grow new client sites.


Key Responsibilities:Team & People Management
  • Supervise and support a team of Recruiters and Account Recruiting Managers within your region.
  • Ensure teams meet or exceed KPIs such as daily screens, weekly onboarding targets, and time-to-fill goals.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and hands-on assistance to improve individual and team performance.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and team syncs to align priorities, workload, and staffing urgency.
Client Operations & Relationship Management
  • Oversee recruitment operations for multiple clients across your region, ensuring consistency in service, quality, and compliance.
  • Act as the primary regional contact for client leaders at the district and regional levels, strengthening relationships and proactively resolving issues.
  • Monitor site-level staffing performance and partner with ARMs to address operational concerns, attendance trends, and workforce morale.
  • Maintain awareness of client-specific needs, site schedules, and safety protocols.
Recruitment & Field Support
  • Jump in to assist with recruiting, screening, onboarding, or field escalations as needed to ensure continuity of service.
  • Troubleshoot complex candidate issues, onboarding delays, and site challenges in real time.
  • Guide ARMs in PPE tracking, onsite worker engagement, and operational reporting.
New Site Development & Sales Support
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support new client onboarding and site launches.
  • Provide labor market intelligence, operational forecasts, and early-stage recruitment plans during sales cycles.

Lead the operational ramp-up and initial workforce execution for new clients or regions.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in staffing, operations, or workforce management (multi-site or regional experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams across recruitment and field operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of high-volume staffing and compliance practices.
  • Comfortable with client interaction at the district, regional, and executive levels.
  • Tech-savvy with applicant tracking systems (ATS), reporting tools, and digital communications.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.

Work Schedule & Conditions:
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM; availability required during peak or urgent periods.
  • Location: Remote with regular travel across the assigned region for client visits, site launches, and team support.
  • Travel: Required, including multi-day trips within your designated territory.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Equivalent operational leadership experience will be considered.
