Job Summary:
This position provides administrative support for Carrier Enterprise's recruiting function, including coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation and support of new hire retention efforts. The Recruiting Coordinator assists with end-to-end talent acquisition activities by managing onboarding logistics, coordinating candidate and new hire communications, and ensuring compliance & accurate records. This role also delivers operational support to the Talent Acquisition Team through timely sourcing as needed and process coordination, with an emphasis on clear communication, organization, and strong attention to detail for both internal and external stakeholders
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for applicants and candidates throughout the pre-employment screening, interview coordination, job offer, and background screening process
  • Assists applicants in navigating each step of the hiring process by ensuring timely completion of pre-employment requirements, interview steps, and employment offer processing.
  • Initiates, monitors, and follows up on background checks to support accurate and timely hiring decisions and start dates.
  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition Team to support candidate sourcing efforts through traditional and creative recruiting channels, including company collegiate recruiting initiatives.
  • Reviews, trains, and communicates hiring and onboarding process expectations to hiring managers to ensure consistent, compliant execution across departments.
  • Utilizes the Human Capital Management (HCM) system to manage the onboarding workflow, including collecting required employment documentation, assigning onboarding tasks, and ensuring all pre-employment and compliance requirements are completed prior to start dates.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and participates in new hire orientations to ensure our new associates receive timely information on company policies, benefits, and onboarding expectations.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of HR administrative experience
  • Experience supporting HRIS/HR systems, with ADP Preferred (including maintaining accurate employee records in ADP Vantage HCM or similar platforms).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally with managers, associates, and external partners.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn; desire to progress in HR.

  • 3+ years of general understanding of Human Resources procedures; ability to learn basic Employment & Labor Law.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Must have intermediate skills with MS Office 365; preferred experience with HCM or database software.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to respond to time sensitive requests and workflows
  • Abilityto handle multiple external and internal priorities with minimal supervision
