Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About This Role:

As the Manager, Technical Recruiting, you will lead Crusoe's technical recruiting function during one of the most exciting periods in the company's growth. Reporting into the Head of Technical Recruiting, you'll be responsible for building, developing, and scaling a world-class technical recruiting team that hires exceptional talent across Engineering, Infrastructure, AI, Hardware, Product and other critical technical organizations.

This is a player-coach leadership role that combines strategic talent leadership with operational excellence. You'll set the recruiting strategy, coach and develop recruiters, partner with executive leaders on workforce planning, and continuously improve the systems, processes, and metrics that enable Crusoe to scale efficiently.

You'll work closely with Recruiting Operations, Talent Intelligence, and business leaders to build a recruiting organization that delivers an exceptional candidate experience while consistently raising the talent bar. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, data-driven decision making, operational rigor, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a rapidly growing organization.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technical recruiters and sourcers, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.

  • Own recruiting execution across multiple technical organizations, ensuring hiring goals are met while maintaining an exceptionally high talent bar.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, AI, Product, and executive leadership to understand hiring priorities, workforce planning, and long-term organizational needs.

  • Collaborate with Recruiting Operations to design, implement, and continuously optimize recruiting processes, systems, reporting, and tooling that enable scale.

  • Drive full-cycle recruiting strategies that align with Crusoe's aggressive growth plans.

  • Establish and monitor recruiting KPIs, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, interviewer utilization, and recruiter productivity to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Coach recruiters on sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, stakeholder management, and closing techniques.

  • Partner with Talent Intelligence and Recruiting Operations to leverage market data, competitive insights, and talent mapping to inform hiring strategy.

  • Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and technical talent movement.

  • Continuously improve sourcing strategies, interview processes, hiring manager partnerships, and candidate experience.

  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and structured interviewing to ensure consistent, high-quality hiring decisions.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and recruiting technologies to improve recruiter efficiency and scalability.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 7+ years of technical recruiting experience, including experience leading recruiting teams in a high-growth technology company.

  • Proven success managing technical recruiters and/or sourcers while consistently delivering against ambitious hiring goals.

  • Experience partnering directly with Engineering and executive leadership on complex technical hiring initiatives.

  • Hands-on expertise with applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and sourcing platforms.

  • Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and experience using data to drive operational improvements and business decisions.

  • Excellent coaching, leadership, and performance management skills with a track record of developing high-performing recruiting teams.

  • Ability to build trusted relationships across technical organizations and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated success improving recruiting operations, processes, and organizational scalability.

  • Exceptional project management, prioritization, and organizational skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

  • Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to confidently present recruiting insights and hiring strategies to senior leadership.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience scaling recruiting organizations through hypergrowth, IPO preparation, or other periods of significant organizational expansion.

  • Deep knowledge of recruiting technologies, AI-enabled recruiting tools, and automation platforms.

  • Experience partnering closely with Recruiting Operations, Talent Intelligence, or People Analytics teams.

  • Experience recruiting for infrastructure, cloud computing, AI/ML, hardware, manufacturing, or data center organizations.

  • Experience building recruiter enablement programs, interview training, or recruiting playbooks that improve quality and consistency across teams.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

  • Daily meals allowance

  • Additional perks & programs specific to location
