Recruiter
Job Summary: This position provides support to production by facilitating new hires from requisition through placement, assisting current associates with the terms and conditions of their employment, and assisting with training and development activities.
Essential Functions
* Oversee the entire recruiting/onboarding/orientation process.
* Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums as an YNA social media administrator. Includes website, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
* Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
* Interviews and facilitates selection of internal and external candidates for non-exempt positions.
* Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
* Recruitment related activities included but not limited to background screening, I-9 verifications through E-verify, reference checks, process paperwork and upload new into Paycor.
* Coordinates and attends hiring events, job fairs and other community events as needed.
* Completing paperwork for new hires
* Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
* Providing recruitment reports and analytics to Admin and YNA managers.
* Assists department with any needs that arise.
Other Functions
* Interacts with co-workers, customers, outside vendors, and government officials.
* Maintains a clean working environment.
* Continuously seeks to improve processes and procedures.
* Promotes a safe working environment for all associates.
Requirements
Education: This position prefers experience in Human Resources or related field, combination and/or experience in lieu of will be considered.
Experience: This position requires 1-2 years experience in Human Resources. Preference will be given to candidates with full-cycle recruiting experience.
Skills: This position requires the ability to conduct different types of interviews, experience with recruitment processes and databases, the ability to design and implement recruiting strategies, excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills, good decision-making skills strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team environment, time management skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to multi-task.
Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to work in a climate-controlled office, walk on concrete floors, lift up to 20 pounds, perform repetitive keystrokes on a continual basis, and occasionally bend, kneel, twist, and reach.
