Job description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is seeking a Contract - Recruiter in the Houston, Texas area.  This is a contract role within a Wood Client Company office and is temporary in nature, with a planned contract duration of 6 months. The role partners with the Talent Acquisition team at Client's Corporation to provide full cycle recruiting support, including development of recruitment plan, creation and approval of job requisitions utilizing the company's applicant tracking system and also management of recruiting activities including the identification, sourcing, screening, recommendation and hiring of candidates across all functions in clients business. The contract recruiter should have the ability to effectively manage a workload of multiple requisitions at different stages of the recruiting process, while maintaining active communication and proactive support to hiring managers.

Authorization to work lawfully in the  US without sponsorship from Wood is required

Key Responsibilities: 

Consults with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant positionConsults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers.Seeks feedback from hiring managers in order to develop a strong sourcing process to align candidates based on the position requirementsCounsels candidates on the interview and hiring process as well as coordinating these activities with the interview teams and candidatesFollows up hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary.Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required3+ years of full cycle recruitment experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviewsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a varied workload while keeping hiring teams and candidates informed of progressProficiency in the use of HR systems such as recruitment related platforms and applicant tracking systems is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Success Factors Recruitment Management system. Experience working for or supporting recruitment activities within the oil and gas industry preferred
