Job Summary:

The Associate Recruiter III is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for security personnel, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. This role ensures compliance with hiring standards and contributes to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies tailored to the unique requirements of the security industry. The Associate Recruiter III serves as a key point of contact for candidates, helping to guide them through the hiring and onboarding process, while collaborating closely with Operations, Corporate Recruiters, and HR to drive workforce engagement, readiness, and retention.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Source, identify, and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews (phone, video, or in-person) with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assess candidate qualifications and make recommendations based on job requirements and organizational fit.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet company staffing needs, particularly for security-focused roles.

Onboarding Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the onboarding process.
  • Schedule and manage onboarding appointments; verify completion and accuracy of new hire documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR and training teams to ensure timely onboarding and compliance with federal, state, and contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate candidate orientation and provide support through the early employment stages.

Candidate Experience & Communication

  • Maintain regular and professional communication with candidates to ensure engagement, transparency, and timely updates.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience by providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all stages of recruitment and candidate evaluation.

Process Compliance & Data Management

  • Track candidate progress within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
  • Ensure hiring and onboarding processes are compliant with all internal policies, client requirements, and legal standards.
  • Support data reporting on hiring activity, conversion metrics, time-to-fill, and other key recruitment performance indicators.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Work closely with Operations and Corporate Recruiters to align recruiting efforts with workforce demands.
  • Respond to questions and provide guidance to hiring managers, applicants, and HR team members regarding recruiting procedures.
  • Support recruiting-related administrative tasks and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.

Security-Specific Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply company- and client-specific requirements for security personnel hiring.
  • Facilitate or verify background screening processes, drug tests, and other security-related pre-employment checks.
  • Maintain awareness of security-related equipment, terminology, and procedural expectations relevant to hiring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a security, staffing, or compliance-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS); experience with systems is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, recruiting compliance, and HR best practices.
