Job description

SUMMARY

This position oversees the outside recreation area consisting of two pools, the beach, rental of cabana, receptions areas and plans and executes activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets the weekly schedules for Recreation.
  • Trains all incoming staff on Trump standards.
  • Makes sure all opening & closing procedures are followed.
  • Continually monitors all staff during the day to make sure our guests are being taking care of according to standards.
  • Anticipates guests needs and ready to performing any duty that is required of team members.
  • Helps management with inventory control of all essential pool & beach needs.
  • Attends all meetings that are required of the recreation supervisor.
  • Can use coaching & counseling techniques with all team members following up with HR.
  • Monitors all cabana usage and follows up with their cleanliness
  • Run entertainment activities, sports programs, and events.
  • Train Recreation Team on how to properly run activities, sports programs, and events.
  • Create new activities, programs, and events to better the service and stay of the guest.
  • Be charismatic and energetic
  • Responsible for the proper, efficient and profitable functioning of the Day to Day Hotel Recreations Operations, ie. Planet Kids, Sports Courts, Arcade & Vending Area, Pool & Beach.
  • Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and coordinating all recreation activities and guest entertainment among the hotel departments.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or general education degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience with a pool & beach operation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical demands
    • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear.
    • Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.
  • Communication
    • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers
    • Must read, write and speak the English language fluently.
  • Computer skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills and brochure applications.
