Responsible for entity specific Patient Safety and HRO program through the development of standard programming and the facilitation of entity specific process improvements that support the reduction of patient care errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes. Facilitate the development, analysis, categorization, and reporting of entity specific adverse events data to help guide improvement efforts.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required
    • Nursing or other clinical discipline preferred.
  • Masters Degree preferred

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of experience in a clinical healthcare environment.
  • Previous experience with safety/risk/quality management and education.
  • Meeting and project improvement facilitation preferred.
  • Ability to create and present quality data using tools such as Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission hospital standards and CMS regulations and occurrence reporting requirements.
  • Experience in clinical operations and/or experience working in performance improvement or quality management areas, preferred.
