Schedule: Mon-Fri and every other weekend

Castleton Health Care Center is hiring an Activities Assistant / Life Enrichment Aide to help create meaningful, engaging experiences for our residents.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Assist with daily activity and recreation programs for residents
  • Lead and support group and 1:1 activities (arts & crafts, games, music, outings)
  • Encourage participation and build relationships with residents
  • Help plan and post monthly activity calendars
  • Support community events and family engagement activities
  • Assist with Resident Council meetings and volunteer programs
  • Maintain activity supplies and track participation/documentation
  • Work closely with nursing staff to support resident needs

What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience in long-term care, activities, or recreation preferred
  • Experience working with seniors strongly preferred
  • Energetic, compassionate, and patient personality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Bonus Qualifications
