Your day as a Recreation Aide
As a Seasonal Recreation Aide with the City of Pharr, you will play a pivotal role in supervising exciting seasonal programs and activities, including our vibrant aquatic program. Your keen eye for detail will be essential as you inspect facilities for potential hazards, ensuring a safe environment for all participants. In this dynamic position, you will also be responsible for promptly reporting any broken equipment to the appropriate supervisor, maintaining the integrity of our programs. Additionally, your customer-centric skills will shine as you answer telephone inquiries and provide valuable information regarding athletic and recreation programs, as well as registration details.   • Ability to develop and administer recreation and athletic programs suited to the needs of the community.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the working environment and with those contacted in the course of work.
