Immediately Hiring Therapeutic Recreation Director (TRD)!

TRD Duties:

  • Counsel patients to develop leisure activities.

  • Create treatment plans based on needs, interests, and therapy goals.

  • Teach activities and techniques (e.g., sports, dance, art) to address physical or psychological needs.

  • Collaborate with the treatment team to plan and assess therapy programs.

  • Encourage clients with special needs to develop skills and engage in health-promoting activities.

  • Observe and record patients' participation and progress, adjusting programs as necessary.

  • Gather information from medical records, staff, family, and patients to assess needs and interests.

  • Develop discharge plans for patients.

  • Plan and direct activities to support rehabilitation, community integration, and prevent further issues.

  • Prepare reports to document patients' progress and reactions.

  • Conduct therapy sessions to enhance mental and physical well-being.

Requirements for therapeutic Recreation Director (TRD):

  • Valid TRD Certificate

  • Experience highly Preferred
