Now Hiring: TRD Therapeutic Recreation Assistant
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and participate in activities like games, crafts, exercise sessions, and other group programs.
  • Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.

โ€ข Assist with activity planning and scheduling.
  • Communicate with residents, families, and staff about activities and programs.

Qualifications:
โ€ข TRD (Therapeutic Recreation Degree) preferred but not required.
โ€ข Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
โ€ข Ability to lead group programs.
โ€ข Ability to work independently or part of a group.
โ€ข Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
โ€ข Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
โ€ข Knowledge of elderly ill and/or disabled.
