About the Role

We are seeking aFull-Time Detox Support Technicianfor oursmall, home-style medically managed withdrawal management facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys direct patient interaction, staying organized, and helping admissions, discharges, and daily unit flow run smoothly. It combines patient support, documentation, scheduling, and light operational tasks in a collaborative detox setting.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM on a rotating 2-week schedule:

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting at $21/hour base pay
    • ($21/hour base pay + $2/hour weekday night differential & $3/hour weekend night differential)
  • PTO (earned on an accrual basis with increases at one year and every 5 years thereafter)
  • Sick Time (40 hours annually)
  • Time and a Half Holiday Pay
  • 401k and up to 3% match after 3 months of employment
  • Up to $400 per year for approved CEUs
  • All required licensure/certification costs for position paid for by the company

What You'll Do

  • Complete phone screenings with prospective patients
  • Help schedule patient admissions
  • Support patients through admission and discharge processes
  • Assist with admission, consent, and discharge paperwork
  • Inventory patient belongings accurately at admission
  • Complete required forms for insurance and internal workflows
  • Enter and manage information in the computer system accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor patients during outside breaks and help maintain safety and structure
  • Provide respectful, professional support to patients throughout the day
  • Help with light cleaning, room turnover, and resetting rooms after discharge
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility procedures
  • Work closely with nursing and the treatment team to support daily operations

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Detox, behavioral health, residential, or similar experience preferred
  • CPR certification required
  • Comfortable speaking with prospective patients by phone and helping coordinate admissions
  • Ability to manage forms, paperwork, and computer-based tasks accurately
  • Ability to stay calm, professional, and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
  • Current BLS, or willingness to obtain via company-paid class within 6 weeks of hire


Position is contingent on passing an OHA Background check and successful completion of a urine analysis (UA) after accepting job offer
