Job description

Warehouse Associate
Pay: $18
Locations: Goodyear, CA
Start Time: 8am to 5pm
Position Summary:
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor or Store Manager while working in a warehouse setting
responsible for but not limited to a variety of warehouse functions; pulling orders, receiving, unloading of freight,
stocking shelves/racks, will call, and assisting customers and internal associates as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in warehouse operations involving receiving, processing, pulling orders, loading trucks, and stocking
inventory
• Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedures
• Maintain a variety of records, orders, bill of ladings, proof of deliveries (PODs), will calls, files, reports and records
of stock
• Perform inventory management and cycle counts
• Keep warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis
• Assist counter sales associates and store manager when necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Foster a safe working environment with goals of zero lost time and zero recordable incidents
• Participate in safety training
• This position has been designated as a safety sensitive position
Critical Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong time management skills
• Work well under pressure
• Apply simple numeric concepts and research alphanumeric part numbers
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal associates
• Abide by safety standards and practices at all time - no exceptions
• Work overtime when needed
• Knowledge of inventory and cycle counts
• Knowledge of proper lifting techniques, health and safety practices and inventory methods
• Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis
• Stand, walk and sit throughout the scheduled work shift
• Use of hands for grasping, pushing and pulling
• Stooping, bending and twisting
• Activities involving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and possible exposure to other elements
such as dust and fumes
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Education and Experience:
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience
• 2-3 years of previous warehouse experience is required
• 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience is required
• Forklift certification preferred
