) Medical Records/Audit Clerk - Assistant
At Olympia Convalescent Hospital, we're committed to providing exceptional care and services to our patients, and we're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Records/Audit Clerk - Assistant to join our team! Located in Koreatown our hospital offers a variety of therapies and care services to help patients regain their independence.
Job Summary:
As a Medical Records/Audit Clerk - Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining resident medical records and health information systems in accordance with current federal and state guidelines. Your duties will include:
  • Receiving and following work schedule/instructions from your supervisor
  • Organizing, planning, and directing the medical records department
  • Assisting the Medical Records/Information Consultant as required
  • Organizing and filing patient charts
  • Developing and maintaining a good working rapport with inter-department personnel
  • Retrieving and delivering patient records manually and electronically
  • Inputting resident data into appropriate databases

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to follow and complete directions and tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Knowledge of computers, data retrieval, input, and output functions
  • Good organizational skills

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday 8:00AM-4:30PM
