Job description

Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time Overnight Admitter (Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, APP) to join its growing team. Candidates for this role would work overnights, typically rotating between a Sunday - Tuesday schedule for a month, followed by a month of Wednesday - Friday, overnight. 
Some duties include but are not limited to:
Admit patients from the Emergency Department
Work with scheduled Physician Assistant to cover Medicine patients.
Complete history and physical exams on assigned admissions including medication reconciliation, complete all orders including appropriate labs and diagnostic testing, medications, therapy evaluations, medications etc.  Consult appropriate services needed during the hospital stay for any acute issues identified on admission.  Discuss and collaborate with attending MD on plan of care.  Admit to the hospitalist/geriatrician, Highland family medicine, Culver medical group including the complex care center, Wilmot cancer center, and chronic vent services. 
Salary Range:
$98,000.00 - $130,083.20 annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
