Job description

The Bob Johnson Auto Group is the largest locally owned auto dealer in Rochester. Our Toyota Collision Center is  the largest in the region. We have expansion plans to make this collision center one of the largest in the nation. We are currently looking for a candidate that is highly motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

The essential job functions of this job position are the following:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Calculation of department payroll and submission to payroll department

Prepare and post general journal entries

Completion of assigned duties relating to month-end closing and financial reporting

Completion of the accounting process to post collision repair orders to the management system

Communication with department manager and staff to ensure accurate financial reporting

Perform general office duties such as filing, organizing work area, sorting of documents, record retention or other general office duties that may be required

Available to work on-site 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

Completion of college associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

Strong math skills and sharp attention to details

Exhibit the ability to work in a dynamic office environment with interruptions throughout the day

Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

Strong work ethic

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Previous Body Shop Experience working with CCC estimating system software is preferred but not required.
