Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off   

Job Description:

L3Harris' Communications & Spectrum Dominance segment is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team. This role will be onsite, based at our Rochester, NY location. In this role, the associate will assist in billing, invoicing, and research for cash applications. The associate will work directly with the segment's controls lead and the billing and collections team. The successful candidate is a detailed oriented individual who has a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting up, validating and generating simple and complex invoices to various customers, with increased support at quarter-end
  • Ensure all assigned invoices are processed and completed in a timely manner per the terms and conditions of the contract
  • Enter invoices into the Wide Area Workflow government billing system timely
  • Intercompany Invoice processing and Customer Milestone billing
  • Support cash application process through research and reconciliation
  • Support accounting team in gathering audit evidence on an as needed basis 

 

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics or related fieldor have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft and Oracle
  • Experience with customer/management reporting

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $48,500 - $90,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
