Cashier / Receptionist – Auto Dealership

The Cashier/Receptionist candidate should be self-motivated, professional and friendly individual to fulfill a critical role in our dealership by providing efficient and courteous service. As our new receptionist, you will be the voice and face of our dealership, so we need someone with a winning attitude and a professional appearance. This person should be detail orientated, organized, reliable and eager to learn new things. Daily responsibilities will include greeting customers, answering phones and providing support to the office and other employees. Must be comfortable working with technology and learning new things. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who thrives in a dealership environment, enjoys variety in their day and is not afraid of change. While we prefer someone with experience, candidates with great potential will also be considered. Our dealership is a family, and we treat each employee as such.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow receptionist processes and procedures
  • Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate department
  • Greeting customers and taking payments
  • Responsible for accurately maintaining cash drawer and submitting a balanced deposit to the office assistant
  • Posting of daily Repair Orders
  • Performing clerical duties such as data entry, organizing & maintaining filing, and scanning
  • Other miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training; Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
